Spotted Pig -West Village

What can we say about Spotted Pig that you haven’t already heard.  The ambiance is warm and cozy making you feel right at home.  The Chargrilled Burger is a must have.  This hearty burger was rich in flavor, juicy and topped off with Roquefort cheese.  Paired with shoestring fries. The cheese was a little too much for me and I needed to scrape some of it off, but I enjoyed the burger regardless. We were even adventurous and tried the pig ear salad. The whole meal was simple yet unforgettable…just wishing I could forget the price.

Dag’s Patio Cafe- Midtown East

With the nice weather upon us. What better way to enjoy it then having a burger outdoors? Dag’s Patio allows you to do just that. Located on East 47^th St just blocks away from the East River. We sat and enjoyed these delicious, full of flavor, yet simple cheeseburgers with fries. With an outdoor bar and sitting area for pet owners. You can enjoy a cocktail with your meal, while spending time with your furry friend. Felt like we barbecued in our own backyard…well almost if you minus the river…and city skyline behind us.

Wahlburgers -Coney Island

We headed to Brooklyn for this burger joint.  Wahlburgers at Coney Island.  The “Our Burger and Double Deck” were fresh and filling.  With plenty of side options. We paired the burgers with their crispy onion rings and one of the best sweet potatoes tots we’ve had so far.  There’s a rooftop dining area for waiter service that overlooks Coney Island, great for summer days. The downstairs dinning is decorated with titles of movies the Wahlberg brothers were a part of.   We even saw the master chief himself, Paul Wahlberg, stopping to chat with fans. This was a trip down memory lane. Coney Island and New Kids on The Block. “Oh oh oh oh oh The right stuff”

Black Iron Burger-Midtown

So the funny story behind this burger meet up was that I ended up going to East 38^th  .  Then called Agnes saying “I’m here but don’t see you”. Only to find out Black Iron Burger is on West 38^th … needless to say the mix up introduced us to a new place to add to the list.  The delay was well worth it.  No antibiotics, hormones, or steroids.  All natural is there motto. Zagat top 5 Best Burger Joints. The salmon burger was deliciously juicy. The Hash Brown burger was full of umami and we loved every bite. One of the best aioli fries we’ve had. Good service, not as crowded on weekdays.  Check out Black Iron you won’t be disappointed.

Umami Burger-Greenwich Village

We were split down the middle with this one. Truffle burger was pretty good; however, the BUB needed a little more flavor. Both burgers were juicy and well composed. Service was great and trendy place. Check out Umami.

5 Napkins Burger-Upper East Side

Agnes tried to be a little healthier this time…I on the other hand did not. Lots of flavor but messy so it made it hard to really enjoy the meal. We checked out the new location on 2nd Ave. Place looks great and easy to get to if you live on the UES. Check out 5 Napkins
